How Does a CNG Dispenser Work?
A CNG dispenser operates on a three-stage cascade filling principle to maximize gas utilization and minimize compression costs:
- Stage 1 – Low Pressure: Gas flows from the low-pressure storage bank first, rapidly filling the vehicle tank.
- Stage 2 – Medium Pressure: As vehicle pressure rises, the system automatically switches to the medium-pressure bank.
- Stage 3 – High Pressure: Final top-up from the high-pressure bank until the vehicle tank reaches the required 200 kg/cm² pressure.
